Kata kunci: Sokongan persekitaran, kemahiran insaniah, sekolah menengah Environmental support is necessary to encourage students’ engagement and nurture students’ inner skills in various activities at school. Soft skills should be mastered by students in high schools in a way to help them step into the realm of work. Surveys were conducted using questionnaires involving a total of 200 form four students from four types of schools namely SMK, SMJKC, SMKA and full boarding schools (SBP) of Negeri Sembilan. Descriptive and inferential analysis used in this study are frequency, percentage, mean score, standard deviation and Pearson correlation. A high level of reliability of 0.896 to 0.965 portrays. The findings showed the overall level of environmental support (mean = 3.95, standard deviation = 0.914) and student’s soft skills (mean = 3.81, standard deviation = 0.849) were moderately high. Research shows that environmental support factor is an important element and has significant relationship with student’s soft skills.
